Jhordan Gardner, Violist, received the 2010
Music School of Delaware - Jacqueline B. Faulcon Award for excellence in
music on May 26, 2010. The honor award is granted through competitive
audition to students who have achieved a high level of music
proficiency. Ten year old Jhordan is the daughter of Tonney Gardner and
Donnetta Moss Gardner of Woolwich Township. She began playing the violin
at age 4 and switched to the viola at age 8. Her audition performance
included Concerto No. 5, 1st Movement ( F. Seitz) and La Cinquantaine
(Gabriel-Marie.)
Robyn Ann Pyle graduated from The College of
New Jersey on May 14, 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
Robyn will be pursuing her Masters Degree in Chemistry at the University
of New Haven, Connecticut in the Fall. Robyn is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs.
Robert Pyle of Logan Township.
Peggy and Bill Fish celebrated their 60th
wedding anniversary on June 3. A family dinner was held at the Maplewood
III Restaurant in Vineland. Peggy & Bill have two sons, Robert and his
wife, Carol, and sons, Morgan and Travis of Atlanta Georgia and David and
his wife, Patty, of Swedesboro and daughters Amy and Suzanne. They also
have 2 great-grandchildren, Joshua and Hope. The couple was married on
June 3, 1950 at the Zion United Methodist Church in Clarksboro by Rev.
Zane.
John Mattioni, Esq., Chairman of the Board of
Mattioni, Ltd., a Philadelphia-based law firm with a branch office in
Swedesboro, has been elected to serve as a member of the Board of
Director’s of the Historical Society of the United States District Court
for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The Society’s goal since its
incorporation in l984 has been to inform the public of the Court’s
distinguished role in American history.
Michael Mattioni, Esq., President of Mattioni,
Ltd., has been elected to serve as Secretary of the Justinian Society, a
legal organization founded in 1935 which promotes and supports the legal
profession. The Mattioni firm maintains its principal office in
Philadelphia, PA and has a branch office in Swedesboro.
Marian Akrami of Swedesboro, the daughter of
Noor and Alia Akrami, received the Alexander V. Sarcione Jr. Memorial
Award, given annually to the graduating student who has displayed the
greatest aptitude for the area of criminal law. Akrami was presented this
award during ceremonies at Widener University School of Law.
Jacqueline Randall, a 2009 Kingsway
graduate, made the Deans List for the Spring semester at Rowan University.
Jacqueline completed her freshman year and is majoring in Fine Arts. She
is the daughter of Jim and Lynne Randall of Logan Township.
